Detec was established in 1981 and has been around since the dawn of this industry. Since then, Detec has developed to become a leading company within video surveillance. Detec are a Norwegian provider of smart video centric IoT services, with self-developed and state-of-the-art video analysis and administration software leading the way. Supplying video surveillance systems to Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Africa.
Requirements
Three years ago, we started working with Detec to create hardware that would seamlessly run their video surveillance software. Detec had two key requirements: the ability to deliver hardware the next day & a lot of storage packed inside the server.
Solutions
We began with the onboarding process which allowed us to get to know the clients brand and their requirements. We knew high-density storage was an integral requirement and began designing the inside of the server. Detec’s 2U server, was also fully customised to reflect the company brand, through use of colour and logos. The Detec brand was at every touch point, from the appearance of the hardware to the documentation to the cardboard packaging. We have an ongoing relationship with Detec, when they sell a system, we ship it out to arrive the next day fully configured and ready to go.
